waaaaah! a bum's first job interview!!!!!! part 1

waaaahhh!
kelangan ko lang tlga ikwentoooo....

well... let's start from.. nagaaayaan kami ni kaye and chinny to work. i mean we were bored to death so i suggested we find a job. we knew some friends who worked na sa call center and un. scheduled na ang wednesday for the big day.

tuesday night.
i was supposed to do my resume...kaya lang ang kawawa kong kapatid, na corrupt ang powerpoint presentation. she needed it daw the next day. so to the rescue naman aku, i mean, mas alam kong gawin ang powerpoint sa kanya and hindi ko sya maiintay to finish it kc i have a resume to do nga. enter naman my parents. tumingin pa ng pictures sa net from a party they attended!!! i couldn't wait to sit and do the things i had to do sa computer, kc i was waaaay behind my sleeping schedule for the job hunting day. pero shempre, no choice, i had to wait. i slept around 3:00 am na! goodness, hilong-hilo nako! kc naman, i didn't feel well nung morning. i think i ate toooo much bibingka the previous night...hehehehe....so i wasn't able to eat much that day. sarap ng bibingka eh! it was from my parents' out of town trip to cagayan.

wednesday morning
after three hours of sleep, i had to pull myself out from my beloved bed to ask my dad to print my resume sa office nya. la na kami ink kc! and chinny said i had to be in her house ng 8: 30 am. things didn't turn out well between my dad and me, kc naman ang labo. suddenly, parang ayaw nya ako payagan! i guess he was in his usual cranky early morning mood and i WAS cranky due to lack of sleep. he didn't give me much money! badtrip! pero ok lang...i understood naman. so i had second thoughts tuloy about going to the job hunting sa libis. and hindi ko tuloy na paprint sa kanya resume ko. chinny then told me meron naman daw sa eastwood internet shops where i can print it. so sinend ku na lang sa email. so go na rin ako...
going to chinny's house, kala ko mawawala ako... i mean, matagal na rin ako nde nakakapunta dun! and usually kasama ko c iyah... baba ako ng cubao. uh alam ko lang papaunta na sure is lrt2. hahaha... next station na pala ang anonas, my destination! sayang ang 14 pesos (or was it 12...kalimutan ku eh)...aun.. i was greeted by chinny's big black dog, c seven (i wonder why 'seven'.....cgro kc 7x bigger than ur average doggie!!!) ay takot talaga ako kc lakas tumahol! but in the end...naging friends na rin kami :)

eastwood, libis
mission: find a computer shop.
para kaming lost souls ni chinny, i mean pasok kami sa isang building and laging ung dead end ang napupuntahan namin without really knowing where d hell the computer shop is...like, we asked a janitor sabi nya
"dun (pointing dun) sa second floor."
so go kami 'dun'..hanap ng stairs..only to find out walang 'dun' dahil he was referring to the next building. labo sana cnbi na lang nya sa kabilang building. anyway, go kami a 'dun' computer shop...bulok! ung computer kc may english and korean version. di namin nakita ung "click for english version"(---> tangi kc di tumitingin), so kinapa na lang namin ung mga commands! ... so i got my resume sa email... papaprint na sana...."miss wala na po ink, chaka long bond paper na lang po." putek.

so we didn't let that get in the way. we were stil pretty jolly...go kami sa next computer shop...ui pagpasok ko i saw a cutie guy..hehehe...diko na pinansin kc I HAD TO GET THAT RESUME PRINTED. cutie guy was one of the staff sa comp shop pala...so go ako sa yahoo mail..."page cannot be displayed"..refresh......"page cannot be displayed"..refresh...(10x) putek ulit. ha! sabi ni chinny dota na lang daw kami... hindi! so call ko c cutie guy and log in sha sa mail nya. ok naman. ANG MALAS KO SOBRAAAA!!!
cutie guy: log in ka ulit
akech: (logged in) wala pa din eh
cutie guy: eh ung sakin ok
akech: (ehhh ayaw nung sakin eehhh) *smile na lang....*
cutie guy: baka kailangan kc nakaupo ka
akech: (oo nga naman bakit nga ba ako nakatayo...)
akech: (upo...) WELCOME TO YAHOO MAIL
cutie guy: ayun, kelangan lang pala nakaupo eh!
(awwww... cute nya talagaaaa)

anyway... NAPRINT NA RIN SA WAKAS.
habang kinukuha ko ang resume ko,
cutie guy: taga st. paul pasig ka?
akech: yep
cutie guy: acquainted ka ba sa batch 2001?
akech: (omg.kinakausap nya ako) uh ha? hmmm...bakit?
cutie guy: kilala mo ba si jessica santos? (not sure kung tama dinig ko)
akech: ha? hindi...pero ate ko kc batch 2001
cutie guy: ahhh...
akech: *smilessss*
and we went out na. i wasn't there all dressed up to go BOY HUNTING...but job hunting...sana matanggap ako...i'd go sa comp shop nya EVERYDAYYYY....

so un. go kami to apply. sabi ng guard we have to fill up some forms...oooppppsssss...

job hunting 101: never forget your ballpen.

so go ako sa watson's...hanap ng pen...uh...meron pero nemo na flurry all over sa tip! AT 89 PESOS! like i said, wala ako pera!
so retreat, back to base... "chinny wala ako nabili ballpen..mahal." bulong ko kay chinny.
humiram c chinny sa guard and i heard "miss wala kayo ballpen?!"--oo nga naman magaapply kc eh...hehehehehehehe

so we accomplished the forms....buti dumating tito jon ni chinny pinahiram ako ng ballpen nyang wag daw namin wawalain kc may sentimental value. cge.

wait kami ni chinny sa lobby...we couldn't stop giggling, ang laughing...
"chinny anu ba tong ginagawa natin....hihihihi"
but deep inside we were super nervoussss....
